Typically two items are made either on the wheel (like a bowl or a cup or a vase) or by handbuilding (like a vase or a mug with a handle and a small sushi tray). Or if sculpting is chosen, 1 medium sized sculpture (up to 4 Pounds limit) per person in a 1.5 to 2 hour lesson.
